A trip to the theatre is the perfect way to bring subjects to life and pique students’ interests. And we are here to help you make that happen.
Here’s how…
Your group can book reduced rate tickets
Some shows have a dedicated student group booking rate and for others you can take advantage of great discounts depending on group size. Some shows may place a cap on number of school rate tickets available so its always best to contact us early if you would like to book a school group.
School group rate tickets are currently available for (selected dates only):
- Peter Pan – Mon 04 Dec 7.30pm, Tue 05 Dec, 7.30pm, Thu 07 Dec 11am, Fri 08 Dec, Sat 09 Dec 2pm, Sun 10 Dec 11am and 5pm, Mon 11 Dec 11am, Tue 12 Dec 10am and 2pm, Thu 14 Dec 11am, Fri 15 Dec 11am, Fri 15 Dec 5pm, Sat 16 Dec 2pm, £12 per ticket.
- The Woman in Black – Wed 24 Jan 7:30pm, Thu 25 Jan 2:30pm, Thu 25 Jan 2024 7:30pm, £17.50 per ticket.
- The Gruffalo’s Child – Tue 19 Mar 1:30pm Tue 19 Mar 4:30pm, Wed 20 Mar 10:30am, Wed 20 Mar 1pm, £11 per ticket.
- Motionhouse Starchitects – Mon 22 Apr 1 pm, Mon 22 Apr 4:30pm, £12 per ticket.
- Jesus Christ Superstar – Tue 30 Apr 7:30pm, Wed 1 May 7:30pm, Thu 2 May 2:30pm, £20 per ticket.

- Awful Auntie – Thu 27 Jun 1:30pm, Thu 27 Jun 6:30pm, Fri 28 Jun 10:30am, Fri 28 Jun 6:30pm, £12 per ticket.
Who can book school group rate tickets?
School group tickets can be booked by registered childcare, education and youth group (Scout and Girl Guide, for example) providers only and for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets. School rate would apply to all children in the group, with accompanying adults entitled to school rate tickets at a ratio of 1:10 children.
You can book without paying straight away
You can reserve seats for you and your students without needing to pay anything until 8 weeks before the show. This gives you peace of mind that your seats are held while you organise your visit.
Add a Get Creative Workshop to compliment your visit
We can work with you to develop an educational workshop. Designed to meet your learning objectives and delivered by professionals, sessions can be run as part of your visit or we can come to you pre- or post- show. Contact the team to find out more about our workshops, groups and opportunities for students, by emailing getcreative@hallforcornwall.org.uk.
Do you need transport for your group?
First Bus Cornwall are Hall for Cornwall’s official transport partner, talk to us if you have transport needs and we can help you package a show and transport offer for your group.
Coach Parking. Coaches can park at Fairmantle Street Coach Park. Visit the Cornwall Council website for further details.
